Inspired by the inventories of local traditional Chinese medicinal shops that we feared as kids but learnt to appreciate as we grew up, we set out to create our very own Asian “Campari” — a bitter apéritif made by infusing a selection of carefully curated Chinese traditional herbs and ginseng roots, along with a variety of traditional Indian and Malay spices including anise, cloves, fennel, cumin seeds, coriander seeds, and more. Paired with Oolong tea-infused gin and sweet vermouth for to create what we'd like to call, an "Asian mom's Negroni".
Oolong-infused gin, homemade ginseng bitters, Cinzano Rosso
• Volume: 100ml
• Stir with ice until well-chilled (15~20 seconds) before serving
• Serve in chilled rocks glass with a large cubed ice and garnished with orange peel
